Originally hailing from Wichita, KS, Zoe Burke’s extensive background as a performer in musical theatre and classical/Shakespearean productions greatly influenced her work first as a K-12 theatre educator and then as an intimacy and consent professional; she brings to her work a sense of empathy and a practical knowledge of what actors genuinely need to perform at their highest and most sustainable level.

Burke has taught K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 theatre and stagecraft both in Wichita and in Española and Santa Fe, NM; she also served as a teaching artist for SAG-AFTRA accredited intimacy training program Intimacy Directors and Coordinators during their Consent Forward Artist program.

Select educational directing credits include She Kills Monsters, Arsenic and Old Lace, The Importance of Being Earnest, Our Town, Much Ado About Nothing, Cyrano de Bergerac, Hairspray, Godspell, Mamma Mia, and High School Musical.

Select community and professional directing credits include OR, A Midsummer Night’s Dream (BroadwayWorld Award winner), Antony and Cleopatra, Love’s Labour’s Lost, Three Cats Cafe (World Premiere), C*CK, Much Ado About Nothing, As You Like It, and A Year with Frog and Toad.

Zoe currently serves as resident intimacy director for both ISC Santa Fe and the Santa Fe Playhouse.
